Who is Eligible

Nationally registered, credentialed or association member professionals, including:

1. Advanced Nurse Practitioner
2. Counsellor
3. Medical Doctor
4. Mental Health Nurse
5. Play Therapist
6. Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
7. Psychologist
8. Psychotherapist
9. Social Worker

Training Requirements

A minimum of 12 CPD hours of training in specific Anxiety assessment and treatment topics related to children. Click here for details.

Additional Requirements

The candidate must attest that, over the course of their career, he/she has conducted a minimum of 200 clinical mental health contact hours with Anxiety-diagnosed clients under the age of 18, with the use of weekly consultation and/or supervision.

Application Process

1. Complete a qualifying training
2. Remit your initial application fee payment of 99.99 USD online
3. Upload the following documents to your account:
   1. A copy of the candidate’s professional registration, credential, or membership
   2. Evidence of completion of qualifying training, in the form of a CPD or completion certificate
   3. A completed application form, found here

Renewal

To maintain Certification, a reapplication is required. After your initial 1-year Certification, you have the option to renew for 1, 2 or 3 years. A 1-year renewal requires 6 CPD hours of anxiety-focused training since you were last Certified; a 2-year renewal requires 12 CPD hours, and a 3-year renewal requires 18 hours.
